Tell us about your family…
I am married to Yehuda, and I’m the mother of Hannah (22) and Moriah (18).

Where are you originally from?
I’m from Norway.

What do you do at CC?
I have been the CEO of the Caspari Center since the summer of 2013.

What did you do before you came to work at CC? What is your professional and educational background?
I was a bible translator with the Norwegian Bible Society. Before that, I taught biblical Hebrew at the University of Oslo for 10 years. I also worked for the Bible Society in Israel. I worked on the Hebrew New Testament Concordance, and on the “How the Bible Came to us” bible exhibit. I have a Masters in theology and B.A. in Hebrew and French.

How long have you been at CC?

I have been working here for 5 years.

What brought you here?
My family and I were living in Norway and we dreamed of returning to Israel, so when the head of the Norwegian Church Ministry to Israel contacted me about the CEO position at the Caspari Center, it was an opportunity for us to return “home”.

What is the best thing about your work?

The best things are: meeting so many different people and closely following the messianic movement.

What do you like to do when you’re not working?
I like dancing Zumba and learning Arabic.

Do you have a favorite bible verse or any other life motto?

Like a former missionary said, I would like to “die climbing.” In other words, I would like to be active and working till the end of my life.

My favorite bible verse is: May the Lord bless you from Zion; may you rejoice in the prosperity of Jerusalem all the days of your life. (Psalm 128:5)

Have you done the Quiz about Jewish roots on the CC website?
No…

I am from a nightmare called “USSR.”

What did you do before you came to work at CC? What is your professional and educational background?

Professional background: Research (physics), translation, sales, tourism, bible teaching

Prior to employment at Caspari Center, I was studying for a theology degree and working in tourism.

What do you do at CC?
I am primarily responsible for the local projects. I also occasionally teach the international students, speak to visiting groups, and help the CEO with various things.

How long have you been at CC?

Not too long, yet… since February 2009.

What brought you here?
An interest in theology, a sense of calling… and job-hunting.

What is the best thing about your work?

Sharing the faith with the rare Israelis who come and ask about it; researching, writing and teaching about Jesus.

What do you like to do when not working?

Reading, being with my family, hiking.

Do you have a favorite bible verse or any other life motto?

Blessed are the owners of a phone, for they might be called.
